Used Book Donations Needed
All Proceeds Benefit The Humane Society of New York
If you have some free moments over the next few days, please search your shelves and perhaps under your beds for any gently used books that you would like to donate to our Used Book Sale. The Student Council is running the sale in response to classroom discussions which began as a result of the events which unfolded at the Cincinnati Zoo recently and the children’s’ natural love for animals. Seems like a Win/Win situation. Good books get a new read and a worthwhile cause gets our support. All books donated on June 15 will be priced at $1 and lower. Please send you books into school on the mornings of June 13, 14 and 15.

2016-17 Scholarship Applications
The Futures 2016/17 scholarship application link is available starting February 2, 2016. Families who applied last year will receive an email with instructions on how to apply. Every family who received a scholarship last year must reapply. Families are encouraged to apply by the April 22, 2016 deadline. The Futures 2016/17 scholarship application is only ONLINE and can by going to www.futuresineducation.org and then clicking on the scholarships tab. Please view the document below to get more information.
If you have not received the financial aid in the past you may still apply if you meet the criteria.

Parents Registration & Changing of Class Homework Alerts
Parents can either sign up or change their class information for the eChalk Homework alerts by following the link below. To sign up for a new account click on the link below to get started.

To change the classes that you receive the alerts from, go to the olqmca.org homepage and complete the login process in the upper right corner. From the Parent screen select Edit Email Alerts & Select Students
. Add the new class(es) and Save. At 4:15 on the day you change the information, you should receive the list of assignments entered by your child(ren)'s teacher.
